Time Sheet

Certain instruments are not able to use a user enable/disable because their sessions are many hours in length, and the user cannot reasonably be expected to be awake when the session is over, let alone present in the lab. For these instruments, users fill out a time sheet after the fact to record their usage. The form is very similar to the equipment enable form described above, except that it also contains an end date and time.

CORAL will make its best guess as to the begin and end time of the session based on what it can see in the reservations; but it is the responsibility of the user to report the correct information.

Note too that if two time sheets are submitted for overlapping times, the billing engine will happily bill for both. If a user makes a mistake filling in a time sheet, he can fill in another with the correct information, but it will take staff intervention to ensure that the first, mistaken, time sheet is removed.
