The Ad-Hoc Training tab allows staff users to define training courses for facility members to sign up for, usually to train them on equipment. The ad-hoc training editor is described in detail under the Lab>Courses tab; the main reason one might use Definitions>Ad-Hoc Courses instead is to find a past ad-hoc training course without having to search for it on the calendar.
