Inactive > Users

The inactive list displays users who are scheduled for deactivation in the next cycle if they have not engaged in qualifying activity before that time. Users do not appear on this list until either staff or the user have been warned. (Staff are warned at the beginning of every month, while users receive an individual notice two weeks after the staff notice.)

To display the list, select a lab and press Search.

Facility staff can temporarily exempt a user from automatic deactivation by pressing the Grant Stay button. Stays should be used sparingly, generally only when a user is actively preparing to use the facility within the next month. It is not that difficult for a user who already has a signed user agreement on file to re-register, and re-registration will ensure that we have accurate billing information.

If you would like to know why a specific user does not appear on the list, press the Check Member button and enter that user's name. The reason for keeping the user will be shown, or "(none)" if there is no reason.
